The Fender Stratocaster was made for those mad at the world. Pissed off.  Who have something to say.
Who knows more about that than girls?
tagline:
The sound of the Fender Strat breaks through glass.
inspired by:
the first edition of the woman rebel, Jenny Holzer, Gurrilla girls, Valerie Salonas, Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Rock n’ Roll.
out of home:
insight: Stratocasters break barriers for women with its sound.
Fender Stratocasters suspended "stuck" in glass as though they have been smashed through. Strategically targeting places that have historically excluded women.
(Wall Street, buildings outside churches, adjacent to government buildings, other professional areas)
ooh headlines:
Near Church: Women, we’ll be making sure you finally have a say.
On Wall Street: They can’t mansplain to you when your argument leaves them speechless.
Near Government Building: No need to strain your voice, girls. We’ll get it heard.
digital activation:
Interactive Instagram / TIkTok / Twitter videos of powerful rock performances by Women playing Strats. But there appears to be no volume. When someone taps the screen on the video to pause it, or scroll by, a crack appears over the screen. By tapping it again, the crack begins to grow. On the third tap, the glass breaks apart and the volume will be able to play as the sound of the Strat will break through the glass.
If we have to break glass to get you to hear what we have to say–well it’s nothing girls like us aren’t used to.
